MISSION
The Mission of the Museum is to collect and preserve the natural, physical, and human history of Beaverhead County, Montana, and to ensure this history is made accessible to all people.
More than a collection of objects, papers, and photographs, the Museum provides the opportunity for service, education, and entertainment and is a positive, economic influence on the community and county, drawing thousands of visitors each year. Public ownership and operation of the Museum through Beaverhead County is a proven way to assure permanence for its historical collections. The Museum values its volunteers, patrons, and the commitment to keeping HISTORY RELEVANT!
We have new displays, come check them out!
