Join us in beautiful southwest Montana for the Beaverhead County Fair and Montana’s Biggest Weekend. Founded as a railroad town in 1880, Dillon is now one of Montana’s premier agricultural areas. Cattle, sheep, and horses dot the landscape that is framed by the Beaverhead River and Pioneer Mountain Range. Home to the University of Montana Western, Dillon enjoys a rich history of agriculture, mining, education, and tourism. It also boasts a huge tradition of hosting the Beaverhead County Fair and Montana’s Biggest Weekend over Labor Day weekend. During the 6 day event, the fairgrounds are bustling with livestock shows, arena events, 4-H and FFA expos, vendors, exhibits, a carnival, 2 days of PRCA Rodeo, parades, and a big name outdoor country western concert! Bring the family, put your boots on and join us for a fun-filled week in historic Dillon, MT.
The Beaverhead County Fair is held annually in Dillon, MT starting the Wednesday of Labor Day weekend and continuing through Sunday. Join us for livestock shows, exhibits, youth rodeo, team sorting, team branding, parades, live music, PRCA Rodeo, country concerts and much, much more during Montana’s Biggest Weekend!
Overnight Boarding
The Beaverhead County Fairgrounds is available for overnight accommodations of horses. Stalls can be rented for $15 per night. The fairgrounds are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. From April through September, the Argenta Street entrance is left open for easy access. From October through April the Argenta Street entrance gate is kept locked. Call Tom Barnes at (406) 660-2792 for the gate access code. A payment drop box is available for you convenience. Water is available.
